On target for success!

Welcome from the Executive Principal It is with great pleasure and honor that I am able to introduce myself as the new Director of the Nottingham British School and Pakistani Excel English School. I am from the North of England. I strongly believe both our dedicated schools will provide an outstanding education and help nurture and develop our children’s personal and social skills. I want to make both our schools outstanding schools; school’s that have a clear and ambitious vision based upon high standards and exceptional teaching. I want our students to be supported, inspired and challenged to achieve their very best in all that they do in order to reach their full potential and academic excellence. I am determined our students will develop into independent, confident, open-minded, life-long learners ready to take their place as leaders in the 21st Century. I am sure all our children will develop into well-balanced, articulate, principled and responsible global citizens, with cultural and international awareness, who positively contribute to our school and the wider community. You, as a parent, play a crucial and vital role in your child’s education and I am personally committed to ensuring that your views are heard. Mohammed Ayub Ismail (MEd, PGCE, MinstF) (Director – Nottingham British School and Pakistani Excel English School) …………………………………….. My name is Dr. Sue and I am from North West England. I am excited and honoured to be asked to be Principal of Nottingham British School. I believe that learning is based on mutual respect between staff, pupils and parents within an inclusive community where everyone is a valued member of the school community. Promotion of high expectations and a love of learning are engendered by an inquisitive, investigative, questioning curiosity that will be developed in children across all key stages and in all subjects in our school. I obtained my teaching qualification (B.Ed) from Liverpool University, followed by a Masters’ Degree from the University of Lancaster and a Doctorate in Education from Liverpool John Moores University. I have over 25 years teaching experience as a teacher, Deputy Head teacher and Head teacher working in schools in five different areas of England. I have also led and managed two large departments in two different Universities in England and been Principal of two different schools in Abu Dhabi. I very much look forward to working with the parents, students and staff of Nottingham British School. Dr Sue Faragher
